Who we are
This site is run by Joanna Booty, a sole trader, contactable at hello@bringthedogs.co.uk.
Use of content
All content on this site – text, photographs, design, code – is owned by us or licensed to us, except where credited otherwise (some images are Creative Commons licensed, or supplied by tourism boards, and the credit appears below the image).
You may share short extracts and individual images with a credit and a link back to the original post. You may not republish whole posts, host our images on your own site, or use our content commercially without written permission. Email us if you’d like to discuss licensing.
Accuracy of information
We do our best to keep details up to date – opening hours, prices, dog rules, ferry timetables, parking arrangements, the rest. We can’t guarantee any of it. Always check directly with a venue before travelling, particularly for things that change seasonally (beach dog-restrictions, opening days, accommodation availability). We aren’t liable for losses arising from out-of-date information, but we will fix errors when we hear about them. If you spot one, email us.
Reviews and recommendations
Our reviews are personal opinions based on visits with our own dogs. Your experience may be different. Dogs vary. Pubs and cafes change owners. Tides do what tides do. Plan your day with judgement.
Reader-submitted reviews
If you submit a review of a venue, you grant us permission to publish it on the site. We moderate every review before it appears. We may decline, shorten or edit reviews at our discretion – for example to remove personal attacks, accusations we can’t verify, or content that breaches third-party rights. Your name appears with the review; your email address does not.
External links
We link to other sites for your convenience. We don’t control their content or their privacy practices. Some external links are affiliate links – see our Affiliate Disclosure for what that means.
Limitation of liability
We provide the site as it is. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by UK law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of the site or any information on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
