Dog First Aid Kit
Small enough to live in the boot of the car. Has saved us a worried trip to a strange vet a couple of times – the cuts and grazes you can manage at home, you should manage at home. The kit covers the basics; for anything serious, the vet still wins.

We also added a thermometer to ours. Normal temperature range for a dog is 37.7°C to 39.2°C.
