Sugary Cove

A small shingle and rock cove directly below Dartmouth Castle. Dogs are welcome year round with no seasonal restrictions, which is rare for this stretch of coast. The cove almost disappears at high tide, so timing matters: low to mid tide is best. Access is via a steep coast path with no facilities at the beach, but the castle tea room and toilets are a short walk up the hill.
