Looe Valley Line train
A short branch line that runs from Liskeard down to Looe, following the river valley for around eight and three-quarter miles. The line was originally built to carry copper and tin down to the harbour, and still has strong industrial heritage interest. Trains are dog-friendly, and the journey makes a good low-effort outing on a tired-legs day. The Liskeard viaducts walk picks up from the station if you want to stretch the day either side of the train.
