The Foresters Arms
The Foresters Arms
A country pub in the village of Frogham on the south-west edge of the New Forest, known locally as the donkey pub. Run by the Daniels family, the kitchen does freshly cooked seasonal food with locally sourced steaks, homemade pies, fish and chips, Sunday roasts and venison off the haunch. A new outdoor kitchen and bar serves stone-baked pizzas through the summer.
Dogs are welcome but the layout splits the building into a separate dog-friendly area and a dog-free restaurant – the team ask that you flag at booking if you’re bringing yours so they can seat you correctly. Water bowls, dog treats and a dedicated dog menu are available, and there’s a pub dog in residence. Closed Mondays.
