Browns Hotel
A nine-room boutique townhouse hotel two minutes’ walk from the Dartmouth waterfront. All rooms are dog friendly for a £20 doggie stay charge. Dogs are welcome in the bistro and bar downstairs, with a hose and doggie towel out back for muddy paws after the beach. Dogs need to be on a lead downstairs and in corridors, where they might meet Muffin, the resident Westie.
