The Halfway House

The Halfway House

On my list to visit

The Halfway House Inn sits at the central point where the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand meet, seconds from the beach. The pub has six en-suite B&B rooms above it, and dogs in bedrooms can be arranged in advance.

Dogs are welcome throughout the pub including the beer garden, with water bowls and dog biscuits provided. The menu is pub classics and local seafood, and the pub holds a Cask Marque accreditation for its real ales. Food is served daily midday-2.30pm and 6pm-9pm.

Parking is at the main Kingsand village car park next door, paid public. A short drive from Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, with the beach itself on the doorstep.
