Kit Hill Country Park

The highest point in the Tamar Valley National Landscape, at 334 metres above sea level. The summit carries an old mine stack from 1858 and a granite-post trail links the main features. On a clear day the view runs from Dartmoor across to Bodmin Moor, down to Plymouth Sound and out over much of east Cornwall. The 400-acre park is open access, with a cafe at the foot of the hill on the south-east side. There are no toilets at the top.
