The Cherub Inn
The Cherub Inn
A 14th-century timber-framed pub on Higher Street, said to be Dartmouth’s oldest building. Low beams from reclaimed ship timbers, a spiral staircase and a downstairs bar serving local ales and pub food; an upstairs dining room opens in busier periods. The signature dish is the Cherub Smokie, smoked haddock in saffron cream. Booking is by phone.
