Seventh Wave

Seventh Wave

Tried and tested

Seventh Wave is a licensed cafe-restaurant set inside Durlston Castle, with some of the best sea views on the Jurassic Coast from its wrap-around terrace. It serves breakfasts, light lunches and homemade cakes using fresh local produce, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and a lovely cream tea.

Dogs are genuinely welcome, inside on a lead and out on the terrace, muddy paws and all, and there is takeaway too if you would rather picnic on the meadow. We arrived around 2pm and it was busy, but we found a table outside and had room for the pop up pen for the ladies.

We had an excellent lunch here before exploring the park. I had a toasted panini and Ros had a delicious salad of stone fruits and mozzarella. We both had a side of fries and they were very generous portions (the ladies may have had a chip each).
