Fowey Hall Walk

A four-mile circular walk around the Fowey estuary, taking in two short ferry crossings: the Bodinnick car ferry out and the Polruan passenger ferry back. The path has been in use since at least the sixteenth century, runs along the wooded creek of Pont Pill and passes the ‘Q’ memorial to Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch. Ferryside, the house where Daphne du Maurier wrote some of her early novels, sits at the Bodinnick end of the walk. Expect a few short, steep climbs.
